Tuckbox keeps everything you'd otherwise track across a dozen apps — documents, bills, purchase orders, warranties, loans, mutual funds, to-dos, important dates, passwords, credit cards, bank accounts, folders, and notes — in one encrypted vault on your phone.
Everything below lives in the same on-device database — no separate app, login, or sync required per module.
IDs, contracts, warranties, and any file — organized and searchable.
What's due, when, and to whom — with due-date reminders.
Vendors, amounts, and status — from draft to delivered.
Purchase records with expiry tracking, so coverage doesn't quietly lapse.
Loan amounts, remaining balances, and terms, in one place.
Funds, invested amount, and current value, tracked over time.
Simple tasks, standalone or linked to any other record.
Birthdays, anniversaries, renewals — reminders for what matters.
Photos, audio, and files, organized your way.
Logins saved and encrypted, right alongside everything else.
Card details and running balance, tracked at a glance.
Balances across every account, always current.
Quick notes, encrypted like everything else in your vault.
Photograph a bill or card and Tuckbox pre-fills the fields — recognition runs entirely on your device.
PIN or biometric lock, plus a screenshot guard for sensitive screens.
No sign-up form, no email verification, no waiting on a server.
That's the entire setup. No email, no password, no account creation.
Documents, bills, passwords, funds, and more — scan a photo to auto-fill fields, or enter them by hand.
Connect your own Google Drive anytime from Settings. Off by default, on your terms.
Every record lives in a SQLCipher-encrypted database on your device. The encryption key never leaves your device's secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) — if that key can't be read, the app locks rather than quietly falling back to unencrypted storage.
Tuckbox has no backend database of its own. If you turn on backup, your encrypted data is
uploaded to your own Google Drive using the narrowest access scope Google offers
(drive.file) — Tuckbox can only ever see the files it created, never the rest
of your Drive. Restore or delete a backup at any time from Settings.
No. Setup only asks for a display name, and the app works fully offline from the very first launch.
Yes, entirely. Internet access is only ever used for optional Google Drive backup/restore — nothing else in the app needs it.
If you'd enabled Google Drive backup, restore it on a new device using the same Google account. If backup was off, your data was local-only and can't be recovered remotely — that's why we recommend turning it on if losing the device would matter to you.
No. Backup uses Google Drive's most restrictive access scope (drive.file), which only lets the app see files it created itself, and your data is encrypted before it's ever uploaded.
No. Scanning runs fully on-device using Google ML Kit — no image or recognized text ever leaves your phone.
Tuckbox works fully offline from the first launch. Turn on backup only if and when you want it.
